Teach and Train workshops are more than just teaching commands to your dog.

 These workshops focus on the entire ownership focus of a rescue or shelter dog.  Each workshop session is designed to include Q&A and discussion time, training and plenty of problem solving and troubleshooting skills.  We will also focus on the care-giving aspect of owning a "pre-owned" dog as well as providing resources and skills for managing your new dog.  We will teach basic commands such as sit, down, stay and come, as well as name recognition ( or course you want to rename your dog!) as well as socialization (what it is and isn't!) and behavior modification skills.

This is a great workshop if you are considering adding a new dog to your household, but haven't made the selection yet.  If you have a multi dog household, this workshop will address those special situations as well!

This is a 6 week workshop.  Each workshop session is one hour in length.  The sessions are held outdoors, so they are weather dependent.  The first session is 'people only.'  So that we can ensure individual attention to each owner and dog, we do limit our class size, so be sure to enroll early!

Class Fee : $55 with dog;  Audit without dog: $25
